Location

The conference will take place at the main building of Justus-Liebig-University and Margarete-Bieber-Saal. Both venues are on Ludwigsstrasse.

How to find us

By car

If travelling by car please take Giessen Ring Road (Giessener Ring), which can be reached in different ways.

Coming from the South:

• at Gambacher Dreieck (A5) turn onto the A45 towards Siegen, Dortmund
  
• leave the A45 at the first junction, Gießener Südkreuz, heading towards Gießen.
• Come off the motorway at junction Schiffenberger Tal

Coming from the North:

• Come off the motorway at Reiskirchener Dreick (A 5) Leave the ring road (Gießener Ring) at Schiffenberger Tal.

Coming from the West:

• Leave the motorway at Wetzlar Ost (A 45) and head towards Giessen. At junction Autobahndreick Bergwerkswald (B 49) head towards Marburg, Kassel
• Leave the motorway at Schiffenberger Tal and drive into Gießen .

In order to get to the conference venues at Ludwigstrasse drive towards the city center after you have left the ring road (Giessener Ring) at Schiffenberger Tal.

By train

Trains connecting Giessen to Frankfurt am Main’s ICE stop leave every 40 minutes. Trains servicing Kassel’s ICE stop leave every 80 minutes.

By plane

From Frankfurt International Airport, Giessen can be reached by train via Frankfurt Main Station.

By bus

When travelling by bus, please get off at Berliner Platz (bus lines: 1, 2, 3, 6, or 7). From there walk towards Ludwigstrasse, which is just around the corner. The conference venues are a further 10 min down the road.
